January 2010- JAKO celebrates its 60-years anniversary. JAKO is the only Austrian producer and one of the leading providers of pressure and temperature measuring devices in the European market. Already when the company was founded in the year 1949, it was clear that sustainable partnerships with customers take priority over short term successes with one-off deliveries.  Therefore, in addition to the wide product range, the main focus is on afirst class customer care service. This is the only way to ensure that the economically optimal solutions are provided to our customers.

In addition to comprehensive application consulting, JAKO’s offer includes engineering and brand labelling services fully meeting the individual requirements of OEM customers and distribution partners. Thus, equally high quality standards are applied to single devices and small series as to standard products in large series. JAKO is continuously striving to ensure reduced total cost of ownership by offering attractive prices and durable products and to integrate improvements into existing products in order to allow for longer periods of use and shorter assembly times of their products.

Short delivery times and high delivery reliability with a simultaneously high percentage of order-related production are the result of specially developed production planning and control systems and the continuous process optimisations within the scope of the quality management system certified according to ISO 9001.

As the physical principles for the measurement of pressure and temperature are already widely known, innovations mainly focus on operational reliability and durability of the measuring instruments as well as on the development of extended limits of use, e.g.: higher temperatures, higher measuring medium resistances.

The production plant is at the same place at the company’s head office - in Vienna 23. This is where innovative solutions are developed, new materials tested and about 1 million devices produced every year. The customers and partners in Austria and abroad (currently, JAKO’s products and services are supplied to more than 30 countries) come from the fields ofbuilding services engineering (heating/air conditioning/ventilation), industrial plant engineering as well as apparatus & equipment engineering. Every customer has a single customer service representative as personal point of contact, a concept that allows optimally meeting individual requirements and wishes.
